But in her attempts she was blocked from speaking. And now we hear Ingraham will prorogue the House, KILLING THE COMMITTEES ALTOGETHER to investigate the Eight Mile Rock High scandal. WE CRY SHAME!

We just can’t expect him to be able to relate to us, when he had it easy his whole life. I don’t think he knows what is to be home lying in his bed trying to hear what is going on the outside, because you know the area where you living anything could go down at any moment. If he had to live amongst these crazy azz criminals, I don’t think he would be so laid back.

That’s the truth you know William, I never thought about that. The ones who is play like they don’t know what time it is, when they get there, but I still think they are better than the ones who don’t have a clue at all. You never know when they might start reflecting on how things used to be for them and might want do something about it. Besides, most of them might still have family living in those areas that might be able to reach out to them.

So, what happens to the person ,and we have many politicians who would have ‘felt it’, who don’t care when hey get there. Most politicians really don’t care about people. In fact I have found the ones who had to struggle are often the ones that as soon as they have arrived forget we they have come from and certainly forget their people.

I understand what you are saying about Tommy not being a people’s person and not being able to connect with the public, but this isn’t any communication skills class that he has to pass. In fact I believe people tired of these politicians just running talks and no actions, I know I am not looking for any friends, I don’t know about the rest of you all, but I don’t think we need Tommy talking and laughing up with us. All we need is for Tommy to do his job. If Tommy was doing his job he doesn’t need to say anything to us other than what he is doing to combat crime. It doesn’t need to be no long conversation and if he doesn’t want to speak at all, he could let his actions speak for it self or let the police press liaison officer deal with the communicating part. See, I just tired of people making weak excuses for Tommy ineffectiveness. What Tommy’s real problem is, he had everything handed to him on a silver platter, he don’t know what it is to start from the bottom and work his way up to the top. The fact is they put Tommy in these positions, because of who he is. He doesn’t know anything about struggling and he isn’t trying find out about it either, that’s the reason he can’t connect with the average people. He is not able to see what we go through and the pain we feel. If Tommy really wants to be effective, the best thing he could do for the people is resign.

EXACTLY… We need a leader who has VISION and has STERN policies that would SHAKE CRIME IN THIS COUNTRY. 🙂 I like Mother Pratt but it was a problem with her as well and Tommy Turnquest it is a problem. Reginald Ferguson was what I called a very aggressive man but it seemed like he made EXCUSES for the crime within the police force INSTEAD of using his AGGRESSIVENESS to MAKE THE POLICE FORCE STRONGER and EFFECTIVE to fight crime.
Yes your very very RIGHT Kim… Carl Bethel was a weak minister therefore he was FIRED. Tommy Turnquest the same thing and should be terminated. This is what I personally believe… I believe any MINISTRY that work hand and hand with PEOPLE should have a very aggressive/stern personality but open to ideas leader. Tommy Turquest, Sidney Collie, Carl Bethel, Dion Foulkes and Earl Deveaux are what I call BRILLIANT/BOOK SMART leaders HOWEVER lack People Skills or/and Aggressive leadership to run in areas that work HAND AND HAND with People in areas like Health, Education, National Security, Social Development, Immigration and Tourism. Its very good to have an administration who has plenty education, knowledge and experience however areas that work with PEOPLE needs a more AGGRESSIVE and RESPECTED Minister to get effective work done.
:)… Thats why I put a high emphasis on aggressive leadership. Point Blank in 2002 when it was Perry vs Tommy. I saw right through Tommy and thats why i supported Perry Christie in 2002. I feel Perry Christie had a vision and had experience.

Papa really dragging his foot on this. You and I know no political party would be able to put a complete stop to crime, but what is going on under Tommy administration is just too ridiculous and every time he addresses the nation it sound like a scene from Dumber and Dumber. The man is say the dumbest things, its no wonder these criminals are not taking him very serious.

I have to hand it to Papa for realizing Carl wasn’t cutting the mustard and removing him from Education. Now he needs to do something with Tommy. From Papa put Tommy in charge of National Security the criminals have became bolder. These days they have no mercy and no fear, they are attacking anyone, the tourist, the police, I mean nobody is off limits. Tommy have shown he is too weak for this position, all he does is sit on his azz whining about how crime is not his fault and bragging about knowing where his children are. There are so many deaths that could have been avoided and he still isn’t coming up with any real strategy for dealing with these criminals. When he was in opposition he made dealing with these criminals sound very easy, now he in power where he could actually something all of sudden his mind went blank and all he focusing on is who blaming him and isn’t blaming him. To add insult to injuries, he wants the media to keep the public in the dark about what is going on around us. He look like he want us to be walking around like everything good and not taking precautions until the criminals catches us completely off guard. All I have to say to him is, Tommy, if you were doing what you are suppose to be doing, the media covering these stories would be your last concern. The fact that you trying to cover it up, only telling us you don’t have any intentions to deal with the problem, because if you were serious you wouldn’t try to hide what‘s going on, you would want to face it head on.

LoL i finally agree with you… Im sure Hubert Ingraham tried to keep Carl on his TOES when he was Minister Of Education but DAT WASNT HAPPENING…. Therefore he let him go I dont know why Ingraham put him to be Chairman doe……. AND KIM let me tell you this AT LEAST MR. INGRAHAM dont have time to keep WHATLESS administrators and for that I respect him for that… Im sure he warn Carl and told him what he expect but he didnt produce therefore HE LET HIM GO….. Did Christie EVER DO THAT?… No he used to SECOND CHANCES And MORE SCANDALS I guess and for that reason the people kicked him out 🙂
Let Carl sit in the back and play with his blackberry, once he doesn’t throw it at anyone. That might be the only thing that is keeping him calm. The way Hubert demoted Carl and appointed him as the Chairman of the party, when he wasn’t even seeking the position, as to do something to the man’s self-esteem. I don’t think anybody actually believe Carl when to Hubert and told him he wanted to resign from his position to be no chairman of no party, I think that is one of the biggest of all lies Ingraham has told us. What I believe eating Carl up the most is the fact that people wasn’t only complaining about him being ineffective in Education, but they were complaining about Tommy not being effective in National Security as well, but the Prime Minister only saw fit to remove him. If I was Carl, I wouldn’t be tuning in to what they have to say either, I would be sitting in the back playing with my blackberry too, they would be lucky if I don’t call up a few of my friends as well.
Prorogation of the house is a more interesting story. It would be interesting to see what will be on the agenda for the next session. I hope HAI swallows his price and address some constitutional issues.
you know, reading BP’s article headlined, “House to prorogue” which was turned out to be about Carl Bethel, really highlight how much more wutless BP is when compared to the dailies.
