Nassau, Bahamas – Councilor Fred Payne of the Greenville County Council in South Carolina visited The College of The Bahamas on Wednesday, September 12th to discuss solidifying collaborations with the institution for the benefit of students and faculty.

Mr. Payne, who also represented the Ruritan National Foundation dedicated to fostering fellowship, goodwill and community service, spoke to business students and faculty on the “Seven Habits of Highly Successful People”.

Acting Dean, Faculty of Business, Ms. Remelda Moxey, welcomed Mr. Payne and his wife and shared some of the highlights of The College’s Business programme.

Mr. Payne also presented a proclamation to Ms. Moxey that declared Bahamas-American Friendship Days, September 12-13th as a time to celebrate partnerships that improve friendships and have the potential to change the lives of countless people in The Bahamas and the United States, particularly in the areas of trade, investment, culture and philanthropy.
