Nassau, Bahamas — Bahamas Press is reporting a Defence Force Marine was arrested around 11:05 pm last night in the death of 17-year-old Devonya Major.

Detectives stormed onto Maze Road area and arrested the 26-year-old for the murder and kidnapping of the young woman.

You would remember the young Devonya had been kidnapped days earlier before her discovery in bushes off Gladstone Road on Sunday December 21st. She was found at 6pm.

The marine was booked at the Carmichael Raod Police Station and will be transported to Quarter Guard.
