Nassau, Bahamas – It was a big big party over-the-hill in the heartland of the Bahamas where thousands of FNM supporters and delegates affirmed their support to Dr. Hubert Alexander Minnis as leader of the party.
The stage is now set the FNM convention, which will take place this coming July 27th – 29th when an election for the leader will be conducted. From the looks of things Dr. Minnis has already won.
Bahamas Press projects Dr. Minnis shall hold claim more than 82 percent of the delegate support at the upcoming conclave. Tonight we believe that number has increased.
Last night the narrative was right for the ROC WITH DOC TEAM. They gathered over-the-hill where the people live and feel the pains. Dr. Minnis continued the chorus of his beliefs in democracy and the democratic process, and last night paid off big-time for the opposition leader.
The narrative was not good for those challenging Dr. Minnis. They took their campaign to BAY STREET where only few elitist of the party gathered. Word quickly spread that the nation had gathered around Dr. Minnis over-the-hill and before they key note speaker could get to Bay Street persons knew they were in the wrong place and left for Christie Park where a special crowning exercise was taking place.
From all accounts this race is for the history books. Dr. Minnis wins and the gang of six…well… they will stand at the mercy of the New King of the North!
