Nassau, Bahamas – In May 2014, Tamsin Nottage, a sixth grade student at Lyford Cay International School participated in the 2014 Bahamas Primary School Student of the Year Awards Program. She was one of 118 of the BEST and BRIGHTEST primary school student who were vying for the coveted title of National Primary School Student of the Year.
Tamsin was declared the First Runner Up and the recipient of the $4,000.00 Scholarship donated by Bahamas Office & School Supplies.
In recognition of capturing the First Runner Up Award, Lyford Cay International School was presented with the Dr. Keva M. Bethel Memorial Floating Plaque. The plaque will reside at the school for the 2014/2015 school year.
At the school’s graduation ceremony, Mr. Vandyke Pratt – Chairman, Bahamas Primary School Student of the Year Foundation presented the Dr. Keva M. Bethel Memorial Floating Plaque to Tamsin, who accepted on behalf of the school.
