Nassau, Bahamas – Another serious accident on the new airport road has left another victim in hospital.
The incident occurred Saturday morning near the West Ridge roundabout. The drivers of a Kia Sportage crashed in a head-on collision with a driver of a Honda Fit.
The driver of the Honda Fit, after lying on the hard road, was transported to hospital.
This week three major accidents have occurred just hours apart due to high-speed races on the country’s road network. One deadly accident on Thursday evening took the lives of two Prince William High graduates after they celebrated a graduation party on Saunders Beach. The following day [Friday] a man lost control of his vehicle which flipped into the air while overtaking a vehicle on Cowpen Road. He died trapped in the vehicle.
On Friday the Minister for Transport cautioned motorists to take every precaution to adhere to the rules of the road.
