NASSAU| Police are seeking the public’s help in locating the suspect(s) responsible for a shooting incident that resulted in an adult male’s death.

According to initial reports, shortly before 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, 21st May 2023, Police were alerted via its Spot Shotter technology of gunshots being discharged in the Nassau Village community.

Responding officers proceeded to the area where they observed a gray Nissan Cube exiting Jackson Street being driven by a female; the vehicle was intercepted, and officers found a male victim with gunshot injuries inside.

As a result, the victim, who was being assisted to the hospital via private vehicle, was escorted by Police to Princess Margaret Hospital (P.M.H) for medical care; however, while in the hospital, he succumbed to his injuries a short while later.

It was reported that the victim was on Jackson Street, near a local food takeaway, when he was approached by occupants of a small, gray Japanese vehicle who opened fire, wounding him to the upper left back. The victim BP understands goes by the first name Darren.
