Nassau, Bahamas – Bahamas Press has been reliably informed this morning that Brent Symonette is set to make a comeback into frontline politics.
Symonette made his decision to accept Dr. Hubert Minnis’ offer for the St. Anne’s seat after he out maneuvered Chippie Chipman for the nomination.
Symonette, who described former Prime Minister Hubert Ingraham in terms of being arrogant, met with Dr. Minnis this morning to accept the nomination and support the funding of the party into the 2017 General Elections.
Last week Sarkis/Bacon newest candidate Jeff Lloyd joined the FNM ticket for South Beach. He was long confirmed to be a candidate by BP.
Readers should remember how Symonette declared more than $65 million in wealth following the 2007 –2012 term of the FNM, and, many believe, is one of the 19 wealthy families selected in the Ingraham Arawak Port Development deal.
Symonette clearly has political ambitions as he has abandoned his Team Loretta camp and has now sealed a new deal with Dr. Minnis.
One by one there dey come…Minnis has out maneuvered Bay Street once again!
We report yinner decide!
