Former Bahamian Student of the Year Semi-Finalist Branae Minnis Knows The Value of Giving Back

Nassau, Bahamas – In 2014, Branae Minnis represented her primary school, St. Anne’s in the Annual Bahamas Primary School Student of the Year Awards

Program. Branae was selected as one of the Semi-Finalists and awarded a $1,000.00.

Grateful for the opportunity to be recognized among the BEST and BRIGHTEST primary school students in the country, Branae and her parents Bruno and Monique Minnis wanted to give back and in 2015, they offered a $1,500.00 to a deserving nominee in the Bahamas Primary School Student of the Year.

Branae was determined to continue her efforts for the 2016 Awards Program and she personally raised funds among her family members and friends and will present a deserving nominee in this year’s Awards Ceremony with a $2,000.00.

Branae, an 8th Grade Honor Student at St. Anne’s High School is a shining example of an individual who knows the value of giving back.

She will be one of seventy individual and corporate donors who will present some $118,000.00 in scholarships to deserving primary school students in the 2016 Bahamas Primary School Student of the Year Awards Program.

The Bahamas Primary School Student of the Year salutes this former nominee who although still in high school is giving back.
