Nassau, Bahamas — An appointment is about to come for former Minister of Youth, Sports and Culture, Neville Wisdom.

Bahamas Press has learnt that Wisdom’s appointment will exist to put a stop to the issues plaguing the Sports Ministry, which have overwhelmed the new Minister.

Wisdom, you will remember, coached many of the athletes now on the world stage who have brought success in sports for the Bahamas.

Wisdom, with the lead of Prime Minister Christie, negotiated the new Thomas A. Robinson sporting complex, which was botched up by Iram Lewis and will now cost taxpayers some $10 million to repair.

Lewis is now running for the presidency of the BAAA. The Elections will be held this weekend.

A debate between Lewis and sitting President Mike Sands was to be heard today on Sport Radio 103 FM. However, Lewis, knowing the scandal with the sports complex would be a hot topic, chickened out and told newsrooms that he had never agreed to a debate.

What a time – Want lead, but refuse to come to the people!

We report yinner decide!
