Abaco, Bahamas — A family island community leader escaped death by just inches this morning and is reportedly ok following a major accident in Abaco.
Reports reaching Bahamas Press confirmed a contractor and businessman, Mr. Fritz R. Bootle, and two-time PLP candidate for the PLP in North Abaco has narrowly escaped a bad accident unscathed.
Bootle you would remember ran against the Abaco Dragon The Rt. Hon. Hubert Ingraham on two occasions. He narrowly lost that seat in 2007.
Bootle walked away from his truck, which was badly damaged, following the incident. No other vehicle was involved. This is the second time Bootle has been involved in a bad accident.
We advise residents around the country to drive with due care and attention during this holiday season. Drive to arrive alive!
A source tells us perhaps had Mr. Bootle not fastened in his seat we just might be reporting another story.
