Nassau, Bahamas – The men and women of the Royal Bahamas Police Force under the direction of Super cop Ellison Greenslade are getting better and better at their game in their fight against drug.

Today four Defence Force Officers will answer a judge for their contribution to the vexing crime problem.

We can confirm another officer attached to the Defence Force was arrested after landing on Grand Bahama with suspected drugs.

Bahamas Press can report that around 11:00am, officers of the Drug Enforcement Unit, on Grand Bahama acting on information, went to the Grand Bahama International Airport, where they had occasion to conduct a search of a Defence Force Officer who was embarking an aircraft at that facility.

The officer was arrested after two dark taped packages of suspected cocaine was discovered in a black knapsack he was conveying.

And when police thought it was over they then discovered three other Defence Officers assisting the same. All were taken into custody for questioning in connection with this matter.

Officers further arrested two other male suspects at the Grand Bahama
International Airport in relation to this incident.

The suspected drugs weighed five pounds and have a street value of $50,000.00.
