Four found GUILTY! GUILTY! GUILTY! GUILTY!
Nassau, Bahamas – Bahamas Press can confirm tonight we have the verdict in for the murder plot of Immigration Officer Shane Gardiner and his girlfriend Tishka Braynen in Andros.
We can confirm all four men – Cordero Saunders, 26, of Central Andros, James Johnson, 22, of Calabash Bay, Daniel Coakley, 28, of Fresh Creek and Zintworn Duncombe, 28, of Fresh Creek – appeared before Justice Indra Charles when the verdict was read. The men were found guilty on two counts of murder, two counts of kidnapping, and conspiracy to commit armed robbery and attempted armed robbery.
The crime occurred between November 24, 2013 and December 21, 2013.
Now, only Bahamas Press would tell you that this same, Zintworn Duncombe, who was on bail for the Andros murder was one of seven men and a woman, whom police believe to be members of a major organized drug trafficking ring. In late January this year they were all remanded to prison after being charged in connection with a $341,000 drug seizure at a home on the Eastern Road.
This is a great day for Bahamian Justice, and proves once again, that the Criminal Justice System is working full steam ahead in the right direction. We at Bahamas Press congratulate all those who have delivered justice in the land.
We report yinner decide!
