Nassau, Bahamas – Bahamas Press is reporting breaking news out of Addington House confirms a new Archdeacon has been appointed.

We can report Fr. Mark Fox, Rector of the Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Stapleton Gardens, is set to be named as a member of the Bishop of the Bahamas including the Turks and Caicos Islands Cabinet.

Fr. Fox replaces former Archdeacon Rev. I. Ranfurly Brown, Rector of St. Agnes Parish who was sacked following a pastoral letter confirming his dismissal. Fr. Brown remains a powerful figure in the Communion and a pastor for St. Agnes Anglican Church.
