Four Bahamian Olympians had no uniform at Olympic Opening – How did that happen?
Nassau, Bahamas — Two Bahamian athletes at the games in London had to stay locked down at the village during the opening ceremonies as they did not have uniforms to march into the Olympic Stadium on Friday.
BP teams at the games confirm that the development is believed to have happened due to uniform measurement problems prior to the event.
We can confirm Tonique Darling and another coach at the games had to hand over their uniforms to two other new Olympians who also were unable to get dressed with the proper attire in time for the opening ceremonies.
If the late start in the uniforms says anything it could say a lot about athletes’ preparedness for the games.
Once again we are “LATE AGAIN”! This time for the games.
