Prime Minister Hubert Ingraham makes good on his administration’s pledge to re-institute the Coroner’s Court, which was discontinued by the PLP administration in 2006 immediately following the death of the late Anna Nicole Smith’s son Daniel in Nassau.
Prime Minister Hubert Ingraham announced: “Not long from now, The Bahamas will introduce for the first time, an opportunity for victims of crime to appear in court and make a statement that a judge can take account of before the judge imposes sentence upon the person who has harmed their relative.”
