Prime Minister the Rt. Hon. Hubert Ingraham met with Grand Bahama’s Pastors’ Forum at the Office of the Prime Minister, Freeport on Saturday, December 18, 2010. The Forum, made up of pastors from a cross section of denominations on Grand Bahama, met with the Prime Minister to discuss ways local churches can play a more significant role in the Government’s Urban Renewal programme, and the local churches’ various roles in crime prevention and youth development on the island.
Great idea, but look like more polititians than pastors. They look like there is only representation for maybe two denominations. Where’s the president of the christian council?
It is so good to see that Men and Women of God are now ready to do more in this ever growing crime problem in our country.I take my hat of to them and hope that they will cause the gov’t to go back to the original form of Urban Renewal and begin to address the root causes of what’s so very wrong in our society.
