Berry Island, Bahamas – Consistent with the Commissioner’s Policing Plan for 2016, Police took another illegal firearm out of the hands out of a criminal, this time in The Berry Islands on Friday 19th February 2016.
According to reports, shortly after 10:00am, officers from the Berry Islands Division conduct a search of a suspicious male at the Airport in Great Harbour Cay and uncovered 25 rounds of 9-millimeter ammunition.
The officers then arrested the suspect and took him to his home located at Coco Cay, where they uncovered a 9-millimeter handgun with 8 rounds of 9-millimeter ammunition
