One week after a flooded hole appeared on West Bay Street just in front of La Rose boutique shop, the department responsible has yet to have it repaired. Traffic approaching the the hole heading west were seen moving onto the opposite lane facing oncoming traffic. This photo was taken Sunday May 4th and held from publishing in hopes the relevant authorities would have ample time to have the road repaved. To our shocking surprise it is Friday 9th, six days later and repair has yet to be done. The Prime Minister and every cabinet minister who lives in the north western section of New Providence must commute pass this same hole to get into the downtown area, and yet the hole still is an open threat to motorists. When will this hole be repaired?
And a bit of advice to ZNS and the ‘Wutlass Media’ in this country, don’t report it when the road is being repaired, ‘YOU ALL ARE LATE AGAIN!’
The Prime Minister must pass this way everyday to and from home, the house of assembly and from his cable beach office but like all things its not his car he’s driving and your money and mines goes to fix it.So just like he said to the Haitians to sue the government when the plp was the government am now telling Bahamians to sue the govenrment for damage done to your cars. however for general Knowledge if your car is damage as a result of this, the department of public works by law has to find out who is responsible and therefore the government must pay for any damage done has a result of this problem not being fixed.
THAT HOLE IS HORRIBLE I HIT MY BAD NEW CAR IN IT TWICE I AM WONDERING IF I TAKE MY CAR TO FORD AND THE SAY DAMAGE WHO PAYS?
