Bostwick must pay the fine by tomorrow to the court! CONVICTED Weapons Trafficker only gets a light fine!!!
Nassau, Bahamas — Breaking News coming into Bahamas Press right now confirms that John Bostwick Jr. has been delivered a $15,000 fine or 15 months in prison for his conviction in possession of 10 live rounds of ammunition case which concluded this afternoon following a lengthy case before Magistrate Andrew Forbes.
While some are displaying shock this afternoon as to the ruling was presented – we know that the fix was in – especially after the former Governor General Sir Arthur Foulkes showed up to the courtroom to intimidate, and yet, lend support to the convicted Bostwick.
Bostwick, who is appealing the matter, has until Wednesday 11am to pay the fine. The conclusion has repeated a concern shared by the Commissioner of Police some time back where he expressed concern as to how serious crime offenses were not being seriously punished in the courts! The police are dragging the criminals before the courts and then look what happens?! WHY CALL CRIME STOPPERS?!
In September 2015 after months of delay in the case magistrate Andrew Forbes ruled on that former Free National Movement Senator John Bostwick II does have a case to answer to concerning the alleged discovery of 10 rounds of ammunition in a backpack at the Grand Bahama International Airport in May of that year.
