BREAKING STORY <<<

Nassau, Bahamas – Bahamas Press has learnt FNM MPs have now received their boundary adjustments and if all goes as planned at least one FNM MP will not have a seat in the upcoming general elections.

The breaking information came only hours ago following a week-long round of meetings by Hubert Ingraham with key FNMs generals across the country. The Prime Minister is preparing for a major FNM convention, and generals are now being organized for the big event.

Information shown to us confirms at least one FNM MP is being axed from the roster.

Sports radio host and MP for Clifton, Kendal Wright, will no longer have a seat in the Parliament when elections are called.

The news we are told has not greeted the MP well as Ingraham is set to cancel the seat.

Friends close to the MP tell us Wright, who some say was to vote against the sale of BTC and join Branville McCartney, could now be making a move on the Parliament’s floor when the House convenes this October.

Our source deep in the FNM also adds, “We are out to win an election, we want to assure the best possible chance for the FNM when the bell is rung. We know in New Providence Clifton offers us the opportunity to retain a seat and collect some more in the west, and we intend to make that happen.”

No word has come from Wright following this breaking news. All attempts to reach the Clifton MP has failed up to press time.

  1. Let me tell ya, I saw the name, saw the face and was like “wowwww… he actually made a headline”. If I didn’t read about his boundary allegedly being cut I would not have even remembered the man was running in Clifton. As it stands now,the entire area of Clifton is on “auto-pilot”.
Looks like the people there will have to weather the storm out and fend for themselves until election, as they say 🙂

  2. I live in Clifton and I did not see Kendal often but I can tell ya he did a few things more than that “Halkitas fella” the previous MP. Clifton got new roads, some street lights, a park and he make sure the pine forest don’t cover the roads. all I could say is he was much better than the previous MP.

  3. Thank goodness this is happening. Kendal Wright was definitely KENDAL “WRONG” for Clifton. He was the worse MP ever!!!! He has done nothing for Clifton living in Coral Harbour I have not seen the man once EVER not even a card in 4 years. FNM will definitely not get my vote. This prove we would of done much better with the white guy Action Jackson instead. If i was Kendal i would run for the hills because he will loose so badly in 2012. GOOD RIDDANCE Kendal “Wrong” i mean Wright!

  4. @ D. Rolle. You are so right. Its one thing to not be represented outside of parliament its another to not be represented in the halls. I’ve never heard anything from Wright in the house. He was really a poor choice for the area and I hope he runs so that we can run him. He is a natural disgrace. coulda, woulda, shoulda. This bull about he was going to vote against BTC is exactly that. Get lost Kendal. You are arrogant and believe you come from something. You forget yourself.

  5. As a constituent of Clifton I would like to say that I approve dropping Mr. Wright as we don’t see him, nor hear from him even in Parliament! People of Clifton want proper representation! No Jonser’s in 2012, so FNM’s, PLP’s & DNA’s MP contenders, saying you gave your best will not suffice.
