Freeport, Grand Bahama– As the school year ends for Lucaya International they are celebrating the graduation of their largest class to date. The 2010 LIS High School Graduation Ceremony was held at the Grand Bahama Yacht Club where a talented group of 16 graduates were honoured.
“I am amazed at the diversity of talent represented in the LIS graduating class of 2010. Sixteen students, nine different nationalities, scientists, humanists, artists, athletes, designers, engineers and businessmen with Academic and Division 1 Athletic Scholarships awarded,” said LIS Headmaster Chris Mockrish.
“It has been a pleasure to work with these fine young adults on a daily basis. They truly represent the best of what an international education has to offer. We are sad to see them go but excited about the future in front of them. LIS wishes them all the best as they strive to reach their full potential and become happy and productive adults.
