Nassau, Bahamas – Consistent with the Commissioner’s Policing Plan for 2016, officers from the Drug Enforcement Unit arrested an adult male mailboat employee after they found a large amount of dangerous drugs in his possession on Friday 11th March 2016.
Reports are that around 7:30pm, a team of officers assigned to the Drug Enforcement Unit conducted a search of a box on a mailboat moored at the Potters Cay Dock, where they uncovered several taped packages containing 25 pounds of marijuana. An adult male employee of the mailboat was taken into custody in connection with this discovery.
