SUSPECT CHARGED: Frankie Seymour age 25 years of Wrexham Drive, Grassmere Subdivision .
FREEPORT, GRAND BAHAMA – Twentyfive-year-old Frankie Seymour pleaded not guilty to one count of indecent assault on a six-year-old-girl in Magistrates Court 3 on Tuesday morning.
The matter was reported to police on Friday, May 9.
Deputy Chief Magistrate Helen Jones ordered that he be outfitted with a monitoring ankle bracelet and he stay away from the young girl.
The Wrexham Drive man was granted $3,000 bail and is expected to return to court for the start of trial on Tuesday, July 29 for trial.
Meanwhile, Quintin Evans, aka Cordrizle, pleaded guilty to two counts of unlawful sexual intercourse with a 13-year-old girl when he appeared before Senior Justice Hartman Longley.
The 25 year old admitted to having sex with the teen in January and February of this year and knowing the girlâ s age.
The matter was reported to the police in mid March and the court heard that Evans admitted to the offenses when he was questioned by police.
After accepting his guilty plea Tuesday, the judge convicted him of the two counts, ordered that a probation report be prepared on Evans and remanded him to Her Majesty’s Prison until sentencing.
Evans is expected to learn his fate on June 26.
