BP has identified the latest homicide victim as 31-year-old Mark Lalito Rolle, of Bernard Road
Nassau, Bahamas – Bahamas Press is right now actively tracking down the details to this latest homicide, which unfolded in the Shirley Park Lane area just near the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Churchon Shirley Street.
We have identified the victim as 31-year-old, Mark Lalito Rolle, of Bernard Road. He was found just before 6pm in the area with apparent wounds about his body. We cannot confirm if those injuries were gunshot wounds.
Police are still putting the pieces together but we at Bahamas Press with our many agents on the ground is getting a clearer picture to what may have transpired in this latest homicide.
Rolle was being electronically monitored at the time of the murder and was out on bail far from his home in the Shirley Street area.
Records in our databases confirmed just last year in early January the victim was charged before Chief Magistrate Joyann Ferguson Pratt for an alleged rape incident. That crime was alleged to have occurred on December 22, 2014. Court dockets revealed that Rolle was accused of having sexual intercourse with a 17-year-old girl without her consent!
The matter we can confirm was being heard in the Supreme Court where he had been granted bail!
Bahamas Press cannot confirm if the murder of Rolle is as a result of the allegations brought against him. However, all we keep saying is this, if the people getting bail are not conscience yet of the fact that they have an almost 100% chance of a death sentence when released, then we and those accused, should expect plenty more of these incidents in the days, months and years to come.
Rolle is the country’s 14th homicide victim.
We report yinner decide!
