Police have confirmed this afternoon that they are investigating another shooting incident on Miami Street, which has left a male battling in hospital.
We can report that sometime shortly after noon today the victim was standing on Miami Street when a suspect – now on the run – approached him with a handgun and shot him several times before fleeing on foot.
The victim was rushed to hospital. Police have not identified the gunman and is investigating the incident.
