A BP NEWS UPDATE >>> FOUR MEN IN HALF-MILLION DOLLAR DRUG BUST TO BE ARRAIGNED IN COURT TODAY
Nassau, Bahamas — Four males arrested by Drug Enforcement Unit during the half million dollar drug bust last week will appear in court at 11:00am this morning to be formally charged.
Drug Enforcement Officers arrested the men following the seizure of 570 pounds of marijuana in an area east of the Coral Harbour Round about on Tuesday 23rd September 2014.
POLICE ARE SEEKING THE PUBLIC’S HELP IN STABBING AND SHOOTING INCIDENTS
POLICE are seeking the public’s help in solving a stabbing and a shooting incident that has left two men detained in hospital on Sunday 28th September 2014.
In the first incident, shortly after 2:00pm, a man was at Shrimp Road off Carmichael Road, when two men riding a moped shot him to the thigh with a handgun and sped off. The victim was transported to hospital, where his condition is listed as stable.
In the second incident, shortly after 4:00pm, a man was at Dean’s Lane, when he got into an altercation with a man known to him and was stabbed to the chest area. The victim was transported to hospital, where his condition is listed as critical.
