Letters confirming that appoint has been forwarded to the Governor General

Michael Pintard.

Nassau Bahamas – Breaking news coming from the Parliament at this hour confirms FNM Leader Dr. Hubert Minnis has appointed Michael Pintard to the Senate.

The move comes following the removal of John Bostwick following his arrest.

Michael Pintard was born in Nassau, the son of Laura Pearline Benson, nee Hepburn, and John Samuel Pintard, deceased.

He received his early education in Nassau, completing an associate of arts degree in agriculture at The College of The Bahamas before earning a bachelor of science degree in agronomy from Tuskegee University. Subsequently Michael completed a number of graduate-level courses in agricultural economics at Montreal, Canada’s McGill University.

Michael is an internationally-certified compliance and anti-money laundering officer, a licensed real estate agent, accomplished playwright and humourist, a teacher, radio talk show host, motivational speaker and writer who has lectured and performed domestically and abroad.

In the May 7th, 2012 General Elections Pintard challenged the Deputy Prime Minister Philip Brave Davis for the seat of Cat Island, Rum Cay and San Salvador.
