Minister of Education the Hon Desmond Bannister tours the campus of The College of The Bahamas.
NASSAU, Bahamas — The College of The Bahamas, President, Jayne Hodder led Minister of Education the Hon Desmond Bannister and a team of Senior Education Officials on a two-hour tour of the College on January 7.
The Minister visited the newly renovated Performing Arts Centre to view a presentation highlighting all of the capital developments being done on the campus.
In addition, presentations were made on the student exchange programmes, student leadership programmes, an overview of the proposed developments for the Northern Bahamas Campus in Grand Bahama and the ‘unveiling’ of plans for a prospective signature programme in Maritime Studies for the Northern Campus.
Finally, Mr Bannister and his team got a ‘first hand’ view of the proposed University of The Bahamas Brand. A luncheon followed in the college’s Choices Restaurant.
