  1. Looks like a woman to me! I mean, who in they right mind will sit here and call a stunning “Female Model” a man? You guy’s must be gay men! You two should maybe hook up sometimes, since you both already obviously feeding of each other. Why do gay men always hate on women? Is it because there not one? Bottom line is she looks great i seen her website too and i agree the pitures u guys have up here do her no justice!

  2. Hello sweety i just seen ur website n you look even better on there then you do here ay. These pics do you no justice. Come to the bahamas girl and i will make sure the you will be love by everyone by the time you leave.

  3. WOW LOOKS TO ME LIKE UR THE RACIST ONE NEWSMAN…SOUNDS LIKE U DISPISE BLK AMERICANS OR SOMETHING ANY WHO …MISS J U LOOK GREAT BUT EVEN BETTER ON UR WEBSITE …I LOVE IT…I WANT TO FLY U TO LONDON TO DO A SHOOT WITH U AND SHOW U AROUND. I WILL EMAIL U MORE INFO

  4. Wow, all this and she is not even a Bahamian, on BAHAMASpress.com. You fans are so caught up in some racial fest with your “european model” talk that you fail to realise that unlike you racist black americans we Bahamians dont see everyone by the color of their skin.

  5. Ms Vaughn. You are Phenomenal and gorgeous these pictures are flawless very trendy and edgy and if anyone can’t see that, they are blind as a bat.
It’s okay to see a European model now and then but
however I really support more African American Models
in the industry .. Aleck Wek, Naomi Campbell, Tyra Banks and Now THE LEGENDARY MISS J.VAUGHN

Keep Doing you because haters are always going to hate ………And Remember:”If THERE TAlKING YOU MUST BE DOING EVERYTHING RIGHT”

    Much love ,

    Gorgeous

  6. I now have my own web site http://www.jahnnevaughn.info . I guess this is just the beginning(all smiles)…THANKS AGAIN TO ALL AND GOD BLESS

  7. To me..I can imagine seeing the first pics in a magazine spread..Anyone who knows fashion will notice that Todays models are not cute or boring, they are edgy and possess distinct features just like I’ve witnessed in J.Vaughn here.
To comment on the forearm remark: BE SERIOUS! does the number of veins or muscle mass automatically scream MAN..many models have to participate in rigorous workouts in order to keep in shape..I think that comment was a bit ridiculous.
Now I will say this, In this industry it takes guts to goo outside ones comfort zone, to reveal the inner diva..eg: beyonce/sasha fierce!! ๐Ÿ˜‰
I think the shots are amazing J.Vaughn and remember most times your HATERS are your biggest fans..they are the ones who spend hours staring at ur pictures trying to find something wrong! Appreciate them Doll!!!

    • Your post comes across as though you are jealous, or just plain sad. That you have to remark on a post here by an anonymous person who is only voicing their opinion, then to label it as ridiculous, well the same to you, I think your entire post above is totally retarded.

  8. As I read these comments, I see there are a few people who can’t seem to get a nice bone in their body…This is nothing short of what I expect from THE VIEWING AUDIENCE…you know people who, chances are, don’t have half the nerve to show their beauty to the world to see. Now, yes, when your face is on the cover of any magazine you are bound to have people who disagree with the shot, or want to pick apart the individual who has the talent, and matches the vision that the photographer has for the shoot. I simply ask, “If anyone on here feels as though this beautiful woman is not good enough to do this cover, instead of your comments, post YOUR photos up here and show the photographer who decided on Ms. Vaughn to do the shoot that they were terribly mistaken–and, that YOU are indeed the one to do it!

    • No thanks, as mentioned already, I am not a model nor do I claim to be. If you have a problem with critique, then just dont read it.

  9. You look great!!!! But does it matter what I say? You are up in the “Bahamas Press”!!! Not Me or the love to hate spectators. Sent with love.

  10. She even more stunning in person. And so humble… Ms. Vaughn deserves a lot more press than this but its a great start here. Thank you Bahamas Press for putting my girl on the map!!! Do expect her to blow the EFF UP!

  11. *looking at some of the previous comments* Usually, I don’t get into commenting on these type of forums, but it bothered me to see how these individuals were attacking this beautiful young woman’s character to the core of her being. It seems as if the individuals that are negatively critiquing this young lady have no true concept of artistic expression, nor do they completely grasp the multitude of levels that modeling entails. ANYONE who is ANYONE in the modeling industry will tell you that variety and versatility are KEY…a woman that only possess one face, one look, one overall appeal is much less marketable that one that is capable of capturing and harnessing the power of what it truly means to be a woman on any level. If you pay close attention to the photos this was not intended to be editorial nor was it meant to appear glamorous. These photos captured the strength and power of womanhood. They scream, “I am woman hear me roar”, and in any other media realm they would be seen as both dark and beautiful. No, she is not your standard 100lbs Caucasian model, nor doe she possess the characteristically European features of say an Adriana Lima, or a Heidi Klum, but she is beautiful none the less…and her strength and power should be revered not negatively critiqued by a bunch of individuals that are unhappy with themselves and take their insecurities out on the artistic expressions of a person that was brave enough to do what they would NEVER fathom doing.

  12. We are just taken by this attack against this young woman. Perhaps this is not BP’s format at all.

    BP

    • It is just critique, no attack. It just seems like these photos may not do justice. I dont hate anyone, never said that, and @LMFAO thanks for the little modeling lesson but you totally went off track with the race issue – watch much MSNBC do yah?? And nobody was attacking anyones character, there was never a mention of her as a person, in other words her mind and soul. Nor does it have anything to do with whether we are happy with ourselves, and quite frankly I dont want to be a female model, that would require a quite annoying sex change, since I am a man – so you are correct, I cannot fathom that! And since we ARE men, we will always comment on the looks when it comes to a female model, they cant and will not always please everyone. That said I already asked for some bikini shots, I mean if you want us to really see whats up and be a little more objective, then lets see?? I look at hot women all day long, like YOU media I wont hold back what I think .. especially for a photographer in Miami who may think they can tell ME what I find hot or not.

  13. I am also not implying that she is a male, her look are very exotic, and if I was a agency, I would probably hire her.The Industries has used transgenders,sex-op before, and when necessary provide this information, but is not required, even Tyra Banks has tried this on ANTM,though that person never made it to the top finals.

Better yet, maybe her height is a matter, though is so rare to find so gorgeous women at 6+ amazing! In any event we a here with BP, because we love ya, and of course we live in such a Fantastic,Demo Country, with to much RIGHTS,lol…Still as a fashion watcher I give her 3 star(good) out of 4, being 1 is poor, and 4 excellent, the body did it.

  14. She really looks great, and she knows how to pose a look at the camera.
@newsman you seem to have a problem critizicing people you don’t know…. Why you don’t show us your picture and the we can jugde how do you look?

      • Then as others have equally attacked: “You shouldn’t comment”…It just sucks that some of the first comments I read on here (from you included) were negative. I could care less that you are a model or not, my issue is that we curb sometimes just congratulating young talent in this world to our sassiness, and our “criticisms”…But, its good to know at least ONE of you who had issues with this shot knows they DEFINITELY couldn’t do the same…Well done Bahama Press. Ms. Vaughn looks fantastic!!!!

  15. She looks like a man in drag. But the fashion industry loves different. People who are not pretty may have a chance too. Best of luck to her.

  16. i never said she IS a man, just said she looks somewhat, ok better word, masculine. Hey i call it as I see it, she juss dont look that great to me thats all, for a model at least. For example, I am going by the photos above, for example her hands look too masculine, and her forearms look too rough. If she was a waitress or an accountant then we wouldnt comment on it, but she is being advertised as a model so it should be obvious that people are going to comment on her looks, good or bad. And for the love of god, I dont know what the photographer was thinking with that hair in the first couple shots, and the eyebrows are way too high up away from the eyes. Now if you could get a Bikini shot then we could judge the body easier but hard to tell from those photos. Hey, maybe its just some bad lighting?

    • The other shots are not for public consumption. Whatever your reviews are we can confirm to you SHE IS 100% woman.

Don’t suggest something without the proof. That’s what yinner always preach to BP.

      BP

  17. sis im happy for you im glad you doing your thing you see you have haters already love you stay pretty… ps call me sometime….

  18. We will not go down that road today Rupert and newsman. The model is a woman who is actively contracted by major model agency in the US.

Bahamas Press in getting approval to publish this photo had to sign off with that model agency. This is not what you attempt to spin on here.

If you have any evidence contrary to what we suggest here PLEASE provide. Failing to be able to provide such we invite you to with draw your comments against the young woman.
