Nassau, Bahamas — Firemen were called to Davis Street area in Oakes Field to stem the spread of a wild fire in the area. Nearby residents who witnessed the blaze approaching the meter cab company said they don’t know how the wild blaze got started. “I don’t know how this catch so quickly but where it breezy and I guess that caused the blaze to spread quickly, ” one eyewitness told BP.
Members of the fire department were on the scene within second of the emergency call dousing flames which had already destroyed two derelict vehicles. Two fire trucks were dispatched to the site of the blaze and immediately the fire was put under control.
