  1. I like to believe that people in the long run are going to do more to promote peace than our governments. Indeed, I think that people want peace so much that one of these days governments had better get out of the way and let them have it.

  2. I pray everyday that TT would do us a favour and resign, cuz Papa don’t look like he planning to move him no time soon, and even though I know Papa probably have some underlining plan, or something to prove in all of this ….. the only thing that is being proven right now is the people crying out and TT need to go……(hey maybe that’s the plan)

  3. The crime situation needs to be adressed the minister of national security needs to do his damm job. Quite frankly I am tired of both political parties because all they are doing is securing their job and their future will they are in office the hell with the people who put them in office to do the job if the job to big for you get out. I am tired of the empty promises fix the crime situation before it ruins us or get someone in that can’t.

    • Well we are not concerned about that period. Remember the Bahamian people dealt with that period of crimes. We know it was far less than this period if we might add.

      BP

      • Hey Bp it look like the ppl wants to know so get the information on the MURDER count from May 2002-2007 PLP and MURDER count from May
2007-2011 FNM put it out there, like Papa dis say for all to see and hear.

      • @Lizzy
That would not be a good date as the FNM would claim that it was the policy decision of the PLP at that time which would have assisted the crime situation. The PLP would need a date after 2007 to reference that the FNM would not be able to deny.

  4. the young people crying out for help, we are not paying attention so this the result, the drug deals no longer in business so this the result, we allow this to gone to far, only god can help us, a next thing going on in the police station why is it they beating up the people when they are in their care, they already heading to court or fox hill tell me the reason, it not their kids so why beating them, this why revenge will never end in this country, these officers have anger problem they too need help, they forget if you treat people as how you want to be treat things will be better,so many officers in the force with problem just like the ones they are locking up, it just that they are in uniform and people dont seeing the mess they doing, stop beating people kids stop going a round and picking up young boys because the area that they live in and beat then for no reason when this going to stop we need to have a serious talk with the boss because he aint seeing what this officers are doing, do your job with pride, you don’t have to be a bully to get the job done.they need to learn how to address people nasty punch on the street my god so wonder things cant get right

  5. MR TURNQUEST IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR CRIME.HOW CAN YOU STOP CRIME IT IS APART OF ALL THE PASS GOV.
HOW CAN YOU STOP THIS MAN FORM KILLING THE OTHER MAN
ON HIS BIKE.YOU CAN NOT! SO STOP MAKING THIS POLITICAL.

    • Maybe cuz its the politicians who claim they would do a better job with crime at election time.
Did you read the papers? They said they were creating a gun court. Mr. Turnquest said it was being created to LOWER the amount of crimes committed by those on bail for gun crimes.

So its the politicians THEMSELVES who perpetuate it.

    • @Ricky, we know thats your boy, but you should of told him this samething when he was all over the place making it political back in 2006 & 2007 tell him get he ### out of office if he can’t fix could we paying him to do a job.

  6. I ALMOST FEEL SORRY FOR HIM..ALMOST..LOL..SEE WHAT MR.TURNQUEST REALIZES IS HE CANT WORK OR HE WILL HAVE TO RESIGN LIKE BRAN..I ACTUALLY THINK HE IS ANGRY WITH PAPA FOR LEAVING HIM AT THE HELM OF THAT MINISTRY..BUT WHERE WOULD HE GO…? I CANT EVEN SEE HIM IN THE DEPARMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICE

  7. I really wish y’all would stop counting the murders from 2009. I really want to know what murder this is for THIS year! not what it is since 2009, i’m not impressed with that figure. what number is this for the year? nine or ten or 11 YOUR ARTICLE DOES NOT SAY!

sure i could subtract the previous year’s numbers but I REALLY DON”T WANT TO!!!

    • The reason the murder count keeps referencing 2009 is because this is a PLP site and BP don’t need the count to be referencing any date that can be traced back to the PLP to smear the good name of that party.
