Nassau, Bahamas — Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 4 – year-old boy who died in hospital a short while ago from a gunshot wound.

Preliminary reports are that sometime after 4:00 pm today the boy was shot at his home located at Balls Alley and was taken to hospital by his mother. The 4– year-old victim died in hospital a short time following his arrival with a gunshot wound.

Preliminary reports are that sometime after 4:00 pm on Saturday.

Meanwhile Bahamas Press has identified that shooting victim gunned down while he fetched water at a public pump on Cordeaux Ave. on Friday to be Jamal Bridgewater AKA “Smits”.
