Marsh Harbour, Abaco — Bahamas Press is reporting a helicopter crash at Baker’s Bay in Abaco. We are reporting one passenger in that incident is dead.
The American helicopter was in the area around noon today making a landing. There were other passengers onboard the carrier.
BP is headed to the area in the Abacos.
Meanwhile we can report a 17-year-old C. C. Sweeting student is the country’s 102nd murder victim.
The student was fatally shot this morning in a botched robbery.
Eyewitnesses tell us the boy’s younger brother was robbed of his lunch money.
As they he went looking for his brother’s robbers, the victim was shot dead from a distance by an unknown suspect. More blood in the streets of the capital as violence continues.
