THIS IS A FILE PHOTO AND NOT THE PICTURE OF THE ACTUAL CRIME-SCENE....

Nassau, Bahamas — Blood is flowing once again down the streams of the Bahamas like a river as Nassau Village records a deadly double shooting last evening.

We can report one of the victims lay dead and another left gasping for air in the community following the troubling incident.

The crime happened shortly after 9pm near Sugar Kid Bowe. Sources tell us a party was underway in the area when gunshots rung out. One victim was left motionless at the scene and the other rushed to the Emergency Room.

The bloody tide of murders, stabbings and near fatal shootings have turned New Providence into a town loaded with guns and weapons, which continues to fuel the vexing crisis. There is a street war in the capital city.

When will it end some ask? The murder count now stands at 22 for the year.

Meanwhile police have identified the man shot and killed at Baillou Hill Road on Thursday as 38-year-old SHERWIN ROBERTS of DERBY ROAD, YELLOW ELDER GARDENS.

Preliminary reports indicate that the victim was sitting in his vehicle, outside a business establishment on Baillou Hill Road, when he was approached and subsequently shot multiple times by another male. Roberts became the country’s 21st murder victim.
