Nassau, Bahamas — All is not well for Spicey Picey when it comes to politics it seems. Already causing his party the PLP to issue a public apology for his outburst which resulted in the Travolta mistrial, he now has the FNM condemning him.
Local media received a statement from the FNM saying: “The FNM condemns South Andros MP Picewell Forbes for rash and irresponsible remarks which led to the derailment of a high-profile trial in the Supreme Court.”
“What MP Forbes did was clearly an interference in the orderly process of the justice system,” the press statement attributed to Chairman Johnley Ferguson read. “The protracted John Travolta attempted extortion case had already attracted much negative attention to The Bahamas. We were all relieved that the whole national nightmare was about to come to an end. Yet instead of that relief, now the international media is reporting a mistrial brought about by the misguided, publicity-seeking comments of a PLP MP at a political gathering.”
If you click on our story we reported last week, you can hear the comments made by ‘Soca’ Forbes who is really giving Obie ‘Da Snitch’ a run for it as the MEDIA HOG/BLABBERMOUTH of the PLP. Ferguson even hit on Neville Wisdom’s unauthorized nomination of Big Bad Brad.
Said the FNM: “The PLP convention was already fraught with problems and irregularities, including the ill-judged action of former Cabinet Minister Neville Wisdom. He nominated former MP Bradley Roberts for the party’s chairmanship when Wisdom was a non-financial PLP member. And thus he was unauthorized to nominate anyone or even be in the room where nominations were taking place.
“An injury of untold proportions has been inflicted on The Bahamas because of what Picewell Forbes did,” said Ferguson.
“And now we in the FNM must now re-double our efforts and prepare an agenda to ensure that such an irresponsible group remains exactly where they are – IN THE OPPOSITION.”

Tristan thank you… I try to be as transparent as possible and not so close minded like some “WATLESS” people who is in the opposition and ENN trying to persuade me to vote PLP come 012.
I dont know nothing about Ivonie Ingraham BUT I was somewhat disappointed in his interview and presentation last week on ZNS. He didnt speak as aggressively as the chairman should and his overall appearance didnt seem like someone who needs to be in front line politics.
These are the characteristics I am looking for as a good chairman:
1. Someone who has people skills
2. Someone who can rattle up the FNM’s base
3. Someone who is a good listener
4. Someone who is a expert in manipulation and persuasion.
5. Someone who is YOUNG and experienced.
6. Someone who is very aggressive GET PUNCH BACK WHEN BRADLEY SPEAKS.
7. Someone who can find NEW INNOVATIONS to market the FNM’s agenda
8. Someone who understands Hubert Ingrham’s VISION
9. Someone who IS NOT APART OF PARLIAMENT
10.Someone who BRING IN NEW VOTERS.
I honestly dont know who can fill this post but in all honesty if it was Hubert Ingrham vs Bradley Roberts Im sure Ingrham couldve fight back and it would be a LONG FIGHT. But i honestly dont have a clear view of someone who comes close.
Ill recommend:
Theresa Ingraham- cause shes a WOMAN and she rowdy lol and she can easily keep Brad on his toes. And Bradley cant really fight ONE ON ONE WITH HER because he will look like a CHAUVINISTIC HOG and it will easily bring back some of his skeletons.

Look here RUSSELL… Ive STATED from DAY ONE that I aint no FNM and i sure aint NO PLP. Yes I align myself with the FNM since they have Hubert Alexander Ingraham as their leader. I still watched and listen to the PLP’s convention because I do beleive in being transparent. I stated that I will give Perry Christie a next chance to TRY PERSUADE ME FROM NOT VOTING FNM come 2012. PEOPLE like you needs to stop being so CLOSE MINDED and stop making everything seems PLP vs FNM.

Johnley seems as if he is having a field day picking out the PLP faults. You have to thank blabbermouth Picewell and that out off it Neville Wisdom for that. I mean it was just so irresponsible and ridiculous the way blabbermouth when up there making his announcement and dancing the gig without checking the facts first. Then you have that Neville Wisdom who looks like he is half awake all the time nominating people and he isn’t in good standing to do so. Both of them should have known better than that and Fergie is making some valid points in pointing out their shortcomings.
Big Bad Brad surely has every FNM on fire so I can understand why they are screaming at his selection and that of Christie and Davis.What a serious matchup problem and the man only been in office for a few days now.I am happy to be a precursor to the hell the inept FNM Govt. is going to catch.I don’t care who wins the chairmanship for the FNM as all are chalk. Firstly for Chairman they needs someone who is RESPECTED, a open minded person who can take in advice from everybody and put it in ONE, A AGGRESSIVE Person, a person who has PEOPLE SKILLS and someone who understands FNM’s agenda.
Bradley Roberts was a good choice for PLP Im not going to lie. Here’s an example of how good he is lol . He right there feeding people say Hubert Inrgaham enn doing this, he enn doing that. The ECONOMY is in a worse state. But in all honesty any COUNTRY that solely depend on TOURISM has this problem. Let me get more specific. ANY COUNTRY THAT DEPENDS ON TOURIST FROM USA RIGHT NOW IS IN A BAD STATE. Its not HI fault about that and Roberts know better. But To MOST people they will agree.

Im loving what your saying. If Perry shows me if he PRIME MINISTER MATERIAL ILL VOTE PLP. Otherwise im stickin with the RED TEAM. Bahamas youth, I realized that the PLP is the right party to be in. Johnly those are only speaking up for two reasons. 1. he is being challenged by my God Father Mr. Ivoine Ingraham and 2. Bradley will chew him up. They are not serious and look what he is going to give a statement on. Come on man. Look the PLP is facing the issues head on and will address a plan to combat them. LoL well you never know but you really opened me up to something i overlooked. But Im very disappointed in Perry Christie’s decisions in 2007 by letting Malcom Adderley run in this constiuency. He Mightve won but the people didnt vote for him but instead THE PLP. Thats one negative thing I hate with our elections. We vote by PARTY AFFILIATIONS instead of message/vision, leadership or constituency.
It break my heart dearly to see soo many young Bahamians vote for a party based upon THEIR MOM’s OR DAD’s political views. Our country should not be what mommy or daddy think it should be WHAT YOU THINK.
