Wanted Man Caught!!!
Eight Mile Rock, GB — Bahamas Press has learnt the first homicide victim for the island of Grand Bahama has been officially identified as NATACHA MONDELUS , a 30-year-old woman, of Jack Smith Corner, Hanna Hill, Eight Mile Rock.
Readers would remember Natacha was slaughtered allegedly by a man believed to be known to her on Monday sometime around noon. And there is now good news about his capture.
Police tell us the wanted suspect has since been caught by police. Sometime in the afternoon on Tuesday, Grand Bahama police apprehended without incident WILLIAM LESLIE FORBES. He was wanted by police regarding the first homicide for Grand Bahama Island. His capture took officers to the Bahama Terrace area of Freeport.
Police tell us they are happy the arrest was carried out with the support the Grand Bahama Community and thanked the public for their continued support in locating a suspect who was wanted.
Forbes is also said to be of Haitian descent and formerly resided in New Providence.
