DRUG ARREST
Sometime around 6:55pm on Thursday 18th March, 2010 officers of the Mobile Division while on patrol on Commonwealth Boulevard, Elizabeth Estates observed a male acting suspiciously. Officers made a search of the 32 year old male  of Yamacraw Estates and and found a quantity of suspected marijuana.  The male was taken in custody.  Police are investigating.

ARMED ROBBERY
Sometime around 10:56 pm on Thursday 18th March, 2010 police received information of an armed robbery at Kool Acres off Fox Hill Road.  Police responded and information received, a male and female on arrival to their residence was approached by two (2) masked males, clad in dark clothing  both allegedly armed with handguns who demanded  cash.  The culprits received no cash; however, the victims  were robbed of their vehicle, a  green 2005 Honda Accord L/P 206306.  The suspects fled the area in an unknown direction.  Police are investigating.

ARMED ROBBERY
Sometime around 1:52 am on Friday 19th March, 2010 police received information of an armed robbery in  the parking lot of  Commonwealth Bank Parking Lot, East Bay Street.  Police responded and  information received, two (2) females and a male were in the parking lot  of Commonwealth Bank Parking Lot, when they were approached by two (2) males both allegedly armed with handguns demanding cash.  The culprits robbed the trio of an undetermined amount of cash and personal effects and fled the area in a  waiting gold sentra which was driven by a third male.  Police are investigating.

ARMED ROBBERY

Sometime around 2:20 am on Friday 19th March, 2010 police received information of an armed robbery at Collins Ave.  Police responded and information received, a male while at a home on  Collins Ave was awoken by noises  heard on the exterior of the home. It is reported that  the male went to make a check and while doing so was approached by another male allegedly armed with a handgun who demanded cash.  The culprit got no money;  however, the culprit  accompanied by an accomplice clad in a white shirt drove away in the victims 1995 burgundy sentra, travelling south on Collins Ave.  Police are investigating.

VEHICLE FIRE/SHOTGUN RECOVERED

Sometime around 2:20 pm on Friday 19th March, 2010 police received information of a vehicle fire at Alexander Boulevard and Lee Street, Nassau Village.  Fire Services responded and after extinguishing the blaze discovered a shotgun on the ground near the vehicle.  No one was taken into custody; however,  police are investigating.

SHOOTING REPORTED

Sometime around 2:00 pm on Friday 19th March, 2010 police received information of a Shooting at Assembly Estates, Fire Trail Road.  Police responded and upon arrival observed a gold Honda Accord L/P 221452 with a male lying on the ground outside the drivers’ door.  Officers examined the male and discovered he had gunshot injuries to the shoulder and upper back.    EMS responded and transported the male to hospital where he is listed serious condition.  Information received two males one of whom was allegedly armed with a handgun was seen by a resident breaking into a home on Fire Trail Road.  The culprits fired gunshots at the resident.   It is reported that the resident produced a license shotgun and discharged the weapon which resulted in both of the males receiving gunshot injuries.  A subsequent search of the area revealed a female handbag and a bloody shirt.   The second suspect is being sought by police.  Police are investigating.

STABBING
Sometime around 3:10 pm on Friday 19th March, 2010 police received information of a stabbing at R.M. Bailey Senior High School.  Police responded and information received two 10th grade students of R.M. Bailey  Senior High School  got into an altercation which resulted in a 16 year old  student  being stabbed to the left side of his head.  The student was taken to hospital via private vehicle.  His condition unknown at this time.  Police are investigating.
