Marsh Harbour, Abaco — Bahamian police along with their international counterparts made a huge marijuana discovery in the southern end of Marsh Harbour, Abaco on Tuesday 11th August 2015.
According to police reports, around 2:00pm a team of officers from the Drug Enforcement Unit accompanied by their international counterparts were on routine patrol, when they discovered three large marijuana fields in the pine forest situated in the western end of Marsh Harbour, Abaco.
The marijuana plants – which range from 6 inches to 6ft in height – were all uprooted.
No arrest was made in this incident, but officers from the Drug Enforcement Unit are continuing their investigations.
Meanwhile police have one man in custody for that stabbing incident on Baillou Hill Road South yesterday. Two men were involved in a fight at a home that resulted in one of the men being fatally stabbed to the body. The man was pronounced dead on the scene.
