Nassau, Bahamas — Breaking news coming into Bahamas Press late tonight confirms police have nabbed off the streets that gang in Nassau Village who savagely murdered the brother of South Beach MP Cleola Hamilton.

We can confirm police are questioning five (5) males, ages 28, 22, 19 and two age 18 years, in connection with the death of 40-year-old DAMIEN COLLIE of Nassau Village, formerly of Long Cay.

Around 1am Sunday the deceased was standing outside a business establishment on Soldier Road and Haven Sub-division when a male ran in his direction, pursued by a group of males.

It is reported that one of the males struck the deceased to the head with an object, which resulted in his death. He died on the scene.

The male that was being pursued was stabbed during the incident and taken to hospital where he was treated and discharged.

Officers of the Selective Enforcement Team (SET) arrested the suspects between 10:00 pm and 12:00 am on Monday.

Truck caught fire on Tonique Williams- Darling Highway this afternoon

A driver of this pickup truck was not so lucky this afternoon after his truck caught fire and burnt to a crisp late this afternoon on the Tonique William-Darling Highway roundabout.

Nothing was left but the frame of the vehicle.

The engines melted to the ground.

Well it looks like someone will get a new vehicle this Christmas.
