Windermere, Eleuthera – Bahamas Press is reporting a traffic accident in the community of South Eleuthera near Windermere Island which has left a police officer in serious condition after crashing into the vehicle of a guest.
Two police officers were on patrol in the area headed into Rock Sound when a vehicle driven by the tourist exited the corner onto the main road and collided with the patrol. The visitor and the two officers were all taken to the local clinic in Rocks Sound.
The police patrol car is badly damaged and Constable Taylor we can confirm is seriously injured. He is being airlifted to the capital.
