POLICE INVESTIGATES TRAFFIC FATALITY

Police are investigating a traffic accident that has left a male pedestrian dead. The incident reportedly occurred around 2:30 am on Sunday 29th January, 2012.

Initial police reports indicate that a 2005 silver L300 driven by a male, was traveling north on Baillou Hill Road in the area of West End Avenue when the incident occurred.

Active police investigations continue.

POLICE INVESTIGATES TWO  SEPARATE   SHOOTING INCIDENTS

Police are investigating two (2) separate shooting incidents that have left two (2) men in hospital in critical condition.

The first incident reportedly occurred shortly after 2:00 am on Sunday 29th January, 2012 at an apartment at Wilson Tract.

Initial police reports indicate that three (3) men, one of whom was armed with a handgun entered the apartment and demanded cash. It is reported that the occupants of the home refused, which resulted in gunshots being fired and a 49 year old male being shot to the back.

The second incident occurred shortly after 4:00 am at a Club on Wulff Road. Police are uncertain of the circumstances surrounding this incident; however, the victim a 31 year old male of Lincoln Boulevard was taken to hospital via private vehicle where he is detained in serious condition.
