Nassau, Bahamas — Bahamas Press can report the officer attacked late last night is indeed police reservist, Freddie Carroll II.
Carroll is the son of former police officer, Freddie Carroll Sr., of Long Island. The 38 year-old security officer we can confirm had separated just days ago from his wife, Shukera Carroll. The couple has three children together.
Carroll had returned to his wife’s residence in Peardale late Friday evening, when a male inside confronted him and a heated exchange followed.
The young man, who we are told had to be dragged off the officer, then proceeded to viciously stabbed Carroll about the body.
His condition is listed as serious.
Clearly attempted murder and a violent crime, and yet the most the criminal will get is probably bail or perhaps 1 or 2 years for “loosing control”.
