The Progressive Liberal Party draws to the attention of the general public that the majority party of the Free National Movement is falling apart from within.
The Member of Parliament for Bamboo Town the Hon. Branville McCartney is clearly on his way out of the FNM; but before he does what many others within the FNM are afraid to do, McCartney is now revealing the truth about Prime Minister Hubert Ingraham as the PLP has been stating all along.
Today’s headlines in The Nassau Guardian: “MP McCartney: PM Lacks Compassion”
· “McCartney said we seem not to be connected to the people, from the leader straight down [we’re] showing a lack of compassion and not listening to the people.”
· “Among other things, he said Bahamians want to see the Government’s plans for the future of the country and opportunities that would be provided for them. They want to know that this place called the Commonwealth of the Bahamas is for Bahamians. – he said”
We the PLP say that if a man that exist in the front line of the FNM is making it clear that Hubert Ingraham is not working in the best interest of Bahamians then we beg to ask the question: Who is the Prime Minister working for?
These are very serious and startling revelations being exposed from within the camp of the FNM and it is a cause for great concern from the Bahamian public. This is alarming that a party that now holds the position of Government is being exposed by a leader in their own ranks.
The Prime Minister clearly stands condemned by one of his own. Who will be the next to step forward and to be frank and honest with the Bahamian people? McCartney’s projections that The FNM will face great challenges in the coming general elections are correct. We indeed need change Bahamas.
I read some facts about our PM and it was mentioned in the above site, that Hubert Ingraham was born in Pineridge,Grand Bahama in 1947(wow, we both Grand Bahamians,please say the other North, cause that might again cause a stir,lol) and his father was Jerome Ingraham (from Turkey)Hmmm…

So BP, your just going to ignore the cursing in this post, but your running down Newsman for an apology for calling the PLP one name. While some of his comments are controversial, is your aim to be just like the FNM Website and only publish your own views?

This is not only bad news for the FNM but for the PLP. the people of The Bahamas are tired of the same old politics of Christie and Ingraham. They want change, and they want compassionate, servant leadership!
