Please be advised that due to the Opening of Parliament on Wednesday 14th April, 2010 the following roads will be closed.
On Tuesday 13th April, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. Bay Street, between Parliament Street and Bank Lane will be closed to vehicular traffic.
On Tuesday 13th April 2010 commencing at 10:00 pm Bay Street between Charlotte Street and East Street will be closed to vehicular traffic until the completion of the Opening of Parliament on Wednesday 14th April, 2010.
On Wednesday 14th April, 2010 Parliament Street North and South between Woodes Rogers Wharf and Shirley Street will be closed to vehicular traffic. Additionally, the public will have no access to Bank Lane as this area will be for authorized persons only.
Traffic entering the downtown area from West Bay Street will be diverted from Marlborough Street onto Woodes Rogers Wharf and then back onto Bay Street at the East Street intersection. Traffic attempting to enter the wharf from East Street will not be permitted and will have to enter the Wharf via, Marlborough Street.
this would be the perfect time for bahamians to unite and march on down there to the house before them cacksuckers get in and block it off and demand some transparency and accountability. lets ban them out the house until they get they act together.
