ELEUTHERA MAN MISSING AFTER BOAT OVERTURNS
Governors Harbour, Bahamas — Search and rescue efforts are ongoing to locate a man who went missing at sea in waters off Eleuthera on Boxing Day.
We at Bahamas Press confirm that missing man to be 39-year-old Robin Godet. Sources on the ground in tell us shortly after 11:00am, two men were fishing in waters three miles off Governor’s Harbour, Eleuthera when their boat capsized, throwing the two of them into the water. One of the men was able to swim to a nearby cay where he was rescued by a passing boater. However, the other man identified, as 39 – year old Robin Cadet of Governors Harbour, remains missing.
Police along with Royal Bahamas Defense Force officers are leading the search and rescue efforts.
