Sad news come into our news to desk Sunday afternoon where we can report a hotel employee has died.
We learned that a young Sandals Royal Bahamian employee, Ometri Ferguson, lost his life in a motorcycle accident.
We can tell you shortly after 4:00pm a male cyclist was riding a trail motorcycle south on Bahamar Boulevard, when he lost control of the motorcycle and collided into a utility pole. Ferguson didn’t have a chance. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Ferguson had completed his morning shift. The victim was making his way home when he lost control.
