BTC believes in the young people of the Bahamas and sponsors CISC!
Nassau, Bahamas – The Bahamas is this year’s CISC host country, and Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. Perry G. Christie, as well as a number of government ministers and officials, were on hand to welcome athletes from 20 countries from around the entire Caribbean.
BTC is a title sponsor for the event and the corporation’s CEO Leon Williams was on hand Wednesday evening to welcome the Caribbean.
The CISC’s are held bi-annually, but this year’s competition is particularly important because it is the last Olympic qualifier before the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.
This past March, Team Bahamas finished with an impressive second place performance, in CARIFTA Swimming, and they are looking to put on another strong performance, this weekend.
