Nassau, Bahamas — Bahamas Press is reporting live on New Providence where we can report the blood-tide is rising once again in the capital and another family is wailing in grief.

We can confirm a third shooting victim has died.

Sometime around 10:00pm last night a man was shot multiple times in the Wilson Track area. He was rushed to hospital following the bloody scene.

The damage was done with a high-powered war-like weapon. WHAT IN THE HELL IS DIS?

BP can confirm that just before 11:00pm, the victim succumbed to his injuries received while at PMH. The victim’s identity was still unknown up to press time.

SUSPECT WANTED FOR FIREARM POSSESSION

9 – year old Darren Armbrister of Williams Lane off Kemp Road

Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating 29 – year old Darren Armbrister of Williams Lane off Kemp Road for Possession of an Unlicensed Firearm.

Armbrister is a dark brown male of a slim build and about 5’ 11”

POLICE IDENTIFY HOMICIDE VICTIMS

The first victim is 29 –year old Tyrone Beneby of Jacaranda Street, Pinewood
Gardens.

Beneby died as a result of a shooting incident that occurred at Jacaranda Street shortly before 11:00pm on Tuesday 22nd April 2014.

The second victim is 24 –year old Renaldo Braynen of Toote Shop Corner. Braynen died as a result of a shooting incident that occurred at Dunmore Street around 12:20pm on Wednesday 23rd April 2014.

SUSPECT WANTED IN EXUMA CAPTURED

33 – year old Denardo Smith AKA ‘Fat Boy’ of Exuma who is wanted for a shooting incident that occurred on that island on Tuesday 22nd April 2014 is now in police custody.

According to reports, shortly before 3:00pm today (Thursday 24th April 2014) Police in Long Island arrested Smith who was attempting to board a flight to New Providence at the StellaMaris Airport.

POLICE SEEK PUBLIC’S ASSISTANCE IN RIDDING THE STREETS OF ILLEGAL FIREARMS

POLICE are urging members of the public to take a stand against illegal firearms by cooperating with the police in providing information regarding the whereabouts of any illegal firearm.

POLICE are also issuing a stern warning to individuals who are bent on importing illegal firearms into this country, who are bent on distributing illegal firearms to criminals in this country and those who are bent on creating havoc in this country through the use of firearms; that the police will continue to relentlessly pursue them until they are brought to justice.

POLICE are also appealing to anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Darren Armbrister, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, to anonymously call Police at 919 or CRIME STOPPERS at 328-TIPS (8477) (New Providence) or 1-242-300-8476 (Family Islands).
