NASSAU, BAHAMAS — There are breaking new developments in the heart of downtown Nassau today as the numbers houses’ case before the Court of Appeals is thrown out.

According to reports from a breaking report, “The Court of Appeal has dismissed the application filed by attorneys representing web shops.  The attorneys for several web shops had filed the appeal to have the injunction the Chief Justice lifted last week to be put back in place. That injunction had prevented police from shutting down the web shops.”

The news is not good and confirms the second blow in just days for the number bosses.

Just minutes after the announcement, Bahamas Press can confirm the top floor at the Gaming Board has collapsed. The structural accident happened following the ruling.

Staff at the board was sent home following the incident.

The building was supposed to start renovation from last year October, but was deferred.

Operations will now be relocated to Centerville House.
